This CW-28 was made in February 1996. It has
a "B" grade back and A- grade Brazilian Rosewood sides. The top is master grade
Adirondack with Waverly tuners and an Ebony peg-head veneer.
Here's what the original owner had to say about this beauty: "The only "unusual"
feature is that I was told by John Holman that Bill Collings himself made the neck on my
guitar because his neck shaper had quit and Bill hadn't trained anyone at the time.
Supposedly, Bill also did the setup on my guitar. Whether this is all true, I
dunno. But
it does have the best vintage neck shape and setup I've ever played."
